Project: Supervision of the construction of AEROMAN's Hangar 5.

Location: La Paz, El Salvador.

Description: Hangar 5 has the following dimmensions: 121m width x 123m length x 29.5m height with a capacity to hold three Airbus A-330, an approximation platform of 209m long x 78.5 m wide, a concrete vault of 93 m long x 10.2 m wide and a construction area of 43,800 m2.

Scope of the Services

The supervision consisted of two stages:

1. Supervision, inspection and approval of the designs created by the contractor.
   
2. Supervision of construction works of all disciplines involved, i.e. architecture, structures, electricity, ventilation, air conditioning, hydrosanitary and fire protection system. Furthermore, the verification of the exact compliance of design contracts, revision of quality control program, approval of staff, equipment and materials, approval of shop drawings, inspections and final reception of the works at the end of the project as well as during pre-commissioning.
